Please note that our payment processors (Google Pay for Android devices, Apple Pay for iOS devices, and PayPal for our website) may collect payment information about you. We neither collect nor have access to such information. However, we do store information related to payment amounts and subscription details as necessary to manage your account. Before providing any personal data to Google Pay, Apple Pay, or PayPal, please make sure that you have read their respective privacy policies.
If you register a premium account, we may collect your name, email address, and related information. All financial transactions related to the use of premium accounts are handled through our payment processors. We may supply your personal information to Third Parties (such as our cloud service providers and payment processors - Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal) who help us administer our app and process payments. These Third Parties must at all times provide the same levels of security for your personal information as iLoveScanner and are bound by a legal agreement to keep your personal information private and secure and to process it only according to iLoveScanner's specific instructions.

Please note that scanned documents are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly choose to use our cloud storage feature. If you use this feature, your documents are securely stored and can be deleted at any time through the app. We do not access, copy, or analyze your scanned documents unless you provide us with explicit written permission to do so, for example, in the case of a support issue.

6. How do we store User Files and generated Data?

In brief: We do not store your scanned documents on our servers unless you opt to use our cloud storage feature.
iLoveScanner primarily processes and stores your scanned documents locally on your device. If you choose to use our optional cloud storage feature, your documents will be securely stored on our servers. You have full control over these files and can delete them at any time through the app. We do not look at the files or mine any data from them. No backups are made of any uploaded files nor their processed output, and the contents are not monitored without your explicit permission.

7. Why do we track Errors?

In brief: We track errors to improve our product.
Although we put our best efforts to ensure the best quality of our services, sometimes our app may experience issues. We use specific services to track errors in iLoveScanner that affect our customers. We do not provide such services with personal information about our users beyond what is necessary for error tracking and resolution.

8. How long does iLoveScanner keep your personal information?

In brief: We keep your personal data only until it is needed for the provision of our services or required by law.
We will keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide you with our services. If your personal data is no longer necessary, we can keep it in an identifiable form for a maximum of one year.
